This page lists the meetings for Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee is authorised to exercise any functions of the FRA that come within its Terms of Reference.  

 

This Committee meets 5 times a year and was set up to:

 

·           Nominate member representatives to attend Conferences

·           Determine and oversee specific programmes

·           Determine matters relating to pay and remuneration where required by collective agreements or legislation

·           Select on behalf of the Authority:  Chief Fire Officer or Chief Executive, and Deputy to the Chief Fire Officer or Chief Executive, or equivalent.  To make recommendations to the Authority as to the terms of appointment or dismissal

·           Make recommendations for the appointment of the Statutory Finance Officer and Statutory Monitoring Officer

·           Act as the Employers’ side on specific employment contracts

·           Hear appeals

·           Determine specific policies, codes and guidance in relation to Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive and other Principal Officers

·           Constitute a sub committee

·           Establish Task and Finish Groups
